My Top 3 Posts from 2023

I just moved and, for me, big life changes always come with a lot of reflection.

The mission of my work is to change the culture of support and aftercare that women get after major surgery. It is not common practice or standard of care to provide women with detailed preparation or rehabilitation for gynecological surgery.
I believe it should be and my clients agree!

BUT doing something outside the norm comes with stress, fear and self doubt.

Hearing from you that my content helps you means the world to me and makes all of this worth it.

So I’ve compiled my 3 most popular posts from 2023 so far… if anything I share here has resonated with you, I’d love to hear from you.

Embrace the Power of Nature for Your Wellbeing

In the digital age, it is critical to prioritize our connection with nature! We can nourish our mental, emotional, and physical health by going outside and immersing ourselves in lush greenery. So, make an effort to spend time outside and enjoy the gentle touch of grass beneath your feet.

It will not only refresh your senses, but it will also be a soothing remedy for the stresses of everyday life. Remember that nature is the ultimate healer, so make time for outdoor time and give yourself the gift of serenity and vitality!

Managing Health Risks Associated with Fibroids

Fibroids can impact your health in various ways and increase the risk of several conditions. However, there are strategies to manage these risks and improve overall well-being.

Regular exercise, yearly bloodwork, and nourishing your body with a healthy diet are essential steps to take control of your health. Additionally, it is crucial to prioritize joy, foster healthy relationships, and reduce stress exposure to improve your overall cardiovascular health.

Remember, it's important to take responsibility for your well-being and create a supportive community around you. Join others who face similar challenges and together, empower one another towards a healthier future.

A Proactive Approach to Post-Op Care

Healthcare providers should prioritize the well-being of women undergoing hysterectomies and myomectomies, providing comprehensive support both before and after the procedure. We should have a system to support and guide women through the struggles of recovery including physicians, physical therapists and mental health professionals.

This proactive approach will assist women in achieving the best possible result while minimizing their suffering. It is our responsibility to do better and to meet the needs of women in a comprehensive and compassionate manner, ensuring they receive the necessary support and care to achieve the best possible outcome.

Thank you for being here, on this mission, with me.
