Power Peeing?

Protecting your pelvic floor is as much about what NOT to do as it is about what TO DO.

One thing NOT to do is power pee.

Power peeing is rushing urination, speeding up your stream, and pushing it all out ASAP so you can get to the next thing.

We do this by creating downward pressure on our pelvic floor. Over time, that pressure can irritate the bladder and weaken the muscles + ligaments of the pelvic floor.

You should be relaxed when you pee.

Those extra 10 seconds you get from going faster? It’s not worth the long-term cost.
