Constipated?

Constipation might be the #1 worst thing for your pelvic floor.

Your bowels + bladder are very close together, especially once the uterus is removed.

And removing a painful, problematic uterus just to replace it with a bunch of painful, problematic POOP—that's just the worst.

So if you’re wondering where to start with your pelvic floor health after surgery, dealing with constipation is priority number one.

There are many culprits for constipation, but this is what I see most with clients:

#1: Not eating enough fiber. Only FIVE PERCENT of Americans meet the minimum fiber requirement of 25g for women.

#2: Carrying tension in the pelvic floor, abs, and lower back. You’ve been in pain. This causes tension-holding patterns in the muscles of the entire core. This can slow gut motility and make it harder to pass stool. A daily mobility routine is a great place to start here.

If you’re tired of trying to figure it out for yourself, let’s talk.

You can schedule a free discovery call here. We’ll talk about what you’re going through, your goals for your health, and see if working together is a good fit.
