Time On The Toilet?
Stop scrolling on the toilet!
I know, easier said than done.
But sitting on the toilet longer than you need to is simply bad for the health of your parts down there.
The primary risks associated with this habit are:
Rectal prolapse
Hemorrhoids
Anal fissures
And trust me, I get it. Sometimes the only quiet time you get is in the bathroom.
Here are some alternatives:
Set a time limit. Can’t get it done in 5 minutes? Go do something else.
Stand up and stretch. Lean on your counter, use your phone while shifting your hips side to side, back and forth, and then try again.
Instead of looking at your phone, play a meditation.
Sing the song stuck in your head. Singing helps shift the pressure in your abdomen and improve passage.
