Does Standing Hurt Your Back?

I told you last week how back pain is the most common problem I help people with after surgery.

THIS is the specific complaint I hear the most often:

“My back hurts so bad when I stand still.”

So many women have gynecological surgery and find they still can’t do dishes, go to a concert, or wait in line without pain.

I created my 20-Point Pelvic Prep Evaluation to determine the “why” behind symptoms like these.

Here are some of the potential causes of this complaint:

  • Deep glute weakness

  • Lack of pelvic stability

  • Posture changes

  • Weak abdominal wall muscles

  • Hip flexor weakness

  • Glute clenching

  • Flat arches in the feet

  • Weak lower back

We test all of these things and more in that 20-Point Pelvic Prep Evaluation, which is the foundation for the recovery program I guide women through 1:1 after surgery.

If you need help overcoming your symptoms, you can set up a free consultation call here.

If you’re more of a DIY person, look at that list above, see where you think your weaknesses lie, and start working on them. I guarantee that there are results on the other side of the action.
